This Privacy Policy explains how Paul-Justin Albeanu (“Squadon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the Squadon mobile apps (iOS and Android), the website at joinsquadon.com, and related services (together, the “Service”).
The Service is intended for users in the Netherlands, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.

2. Age limit
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.
3. Data we collect
Profile and account — explicit list (GDPR):

You may also provide: profile photo, country, sport preferences, skill level, and privacy settings.
- Games & communities — games you create or join, roster status, communities/groups, cover and announcement images, community/group avatars, in-app chat and direct messages, buddy connections, in-app notifications.
- Guest use — a name or temporary identifier if you join via a link without a full account, plus technical data below.
- Location — approximate device location if you grant permission, to show distance to games (foreground use only unless a later feature asks separately).
- Push notifications — a device push token linked to your account if you allow notifications.
- Photos — only images you explicitly choose to upload (avatar, game cover, announcements, community/group images).
- Analytics — usage events via PostHog (e.g. screens, joins) and an app user identifier when signed in.
- Technical data — IP address, app/browser version, timestamps, and security logs via our infrastructure providers.

5. Service providers
We use providers that process data on our instructions, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, storage, server functions
- PostHog — product analytics
- Google — Sign in with Google (if you choose it)
- Apple — Sign in with Apple on iOS (when offered and if you choose it)
- Expo / push services — APNs and FCM delivery
- Vercel — website hosting
We may show your information to other users according to your settings and game/community visibility. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Data may be processed in the EU, US, or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
7. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated data within a reasonable period, subject to short backup retention. Analytics and logs are kept for limited periods.
8. Your rights
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, Romania, or the United Arab Emirates, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port data, and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with:

Delete your account: Profile → Settings → Delete account. You may also email contact@joinsquadon.com for privacy requests.
9. Security & changes
We use industry-standard measures through our providers. No system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
